Dunton Hot Springs

This photo series was captured in collaboration with Dunton Hot Springs during a three-day stay at the exclusive mountain resort tucked deep in the San Juan Mountains of Colorado, just outside of Telluride. Once a late 19th-century mining town, Dunton was carefully restored into a secluded luxury retreat while preserving its hand-hewn log cabins and old-west character. Legend has it that Butch Cassidy even hid out here after robbing the Telluride bank, adding a touch of outlaw history to the quiet alpine valley.

The series explores Dunton’s rare blend of rugged wilderness and refined comfort, from its steaming natural hot springs and historic cabins to the sweeping mountain landscapes that surround it. Through this collaboration, the images capture the resort’s immersive experiences—yoga in the open air, hikes through pine forests, horseback rides across meadows, and the peaceful rhythm of fly fishing in the nearby streams—showcasing a place where rustic charm meets modern luxury.
